Cervo Cervo is a small town of about 1,200 inhabitants located in Liguria, in the province of Imperia. Cervo is one of the most beautiful resorts of the Riviera dei Fiori and is renowned mainly for tourism and for the production of olives. Cervo origins date back to the Roman domination, as attested by some inscriptions found by chance during excavations. The patron saint, celebrated on June 24th, is St. John the Baptist.
Grotte di Toirano Just beyond Toirano are the spurs of a limestone massif of gray dolomite, in which there are more than 150 natural caves. the caves are 1.300 mt. long and their special feature is the wide variety of formations in a succession of 16 rooms, each one unique. The Caves are also famous for the presence of prehistoric findingss: a graveyard of bears and prehistoric adventure mini footprints.
